Condon McGlothlen—President
Seyfarth Shaw
Condon (Con) McGlothlen is a partner with the Chicago-based law firm of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where he advises companies across the country on how to comply with federal and state employment laws. He has particularly extensive experience with employment testing, benefits and selection programs, as well as anti-harassment and other equal employment opportunity laws. Con has worked with many large national employers to institute and update domestic partner benefits, and to protect these benefits despite federal and state governmental challenges. He currently serves on the boards of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. In 2004 and 2005, he co-chaired Dance For Life, the Midwest’s largest performance fundraiser to fight HIV/AIDS. He remains actively involved with Dance For Life, the Democratic National Committee, and numerous professional organizations including the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the Society for Human Resources Management.

Gary Bucher MD, FAAFP, FACN
Radius Medical
Dr. Bucher has been on the board of TPAN since July 2005. Dr. Bucher is the medical director of Radius Health, a new medical practice offering personalized men’s healthcare services for straight and gay men and primary care services for individuals infected with HIV. He has been working in the HIV/AIDS field since the early years of the epidemic.
Dr. Bucher first worked with HIV patients during his residency. Most of his patients were infected with HIV and he was known as the “AIDS doctor”. After residency, he was on faculty at Louisiana State University as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Section of HIV and provided care in the HIV clinic at Charity Hospital. Dr. Bucher worked at Howard Brown Health Center and helped start the HIV primary care clinic. As medical director at Kronos Optimal Health Company in Phoenix, AZ, he developed health and preventive medicine programs for patients in the medical clinic and wellness programs that were implemented on-site at businesses and corporations. His special interests include preventive medicine, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, nutrition and exercise.
He has authored and co-authored numerous research reports and abstracts, and presented research results at both the national and international levels. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds fellowship degrees from the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Nutrition. Dr. Bucher is currently a member of medical societies and organizations at the local, state and national levels. These organizations include American Academy of Family Physicians, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Nutrition, and American College of Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Bucher lives in East Lakeview with his partner Arminius Simmons and their two dogs Dixon and Delta.

Brant Dykehouse

Brant R Dykehouse has been on TPAN’s Board of Directors since 2002. He currently works in Chicago at Jewish Family and Community Service, and also consults as an intercultural trainer and facilitator in corporate, non-profit, and academic settings. Before his career as a clinician, Brant worked mainly in intercultural training and strategy in Japan, Europe, and North America. He holds a BA in English and Psychology from Lake Forest College, and an MSW from Loyola University Chicago’s School of Social Work.

Rick Bejlovec—Executive Director
Rick, a native of Chicago, has been HIV positive since 1991, and has worked in the HIV services community for over seventeen years. In 1990, Rick worked at Howard Brown Health Center as the coordinator of the HIV Testing and counseling programs, as well as the coordinator of the outpatient health care and primary care clinic.
Rick has been at TPA Network since June of 1995 when he started as the Resources and Referrals Coordinator, and served as Editor of the 1995 through 1999 editions of the Chicago Area HIV/AIDS Services Directory. In 1997, Rick was promoted to Information Services Coordinator and began maintaining and upgrading the TPAN computer systems and network. In March of 1999, Rick was promoted to Business Director and moved from out of direct client services and into agency administration. Rick was named Deputy Executive Director in June 2004 and appointed Interim Executive Director in August of 2004, after the untimely death of Executive Director Charles Clifton. Rick was promoted to Executive Director in March of 2005.
