Entertainment

Scott Alan Jones
Scott Alan Jones has become a major force in the Chicago entertainment scene over the last 10 years.  His performances in the musical theatre world, as well as on the pop and dance club circuits, have given audiences a plethora of exciting and memorable experiences.

In the Chicago area, his work has been seen extensively on the Royal George, Mercury, Chicago Shakespeare, Drury Lane, and Marriott Theatre stages.  Favorite roles include Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and his Jeff-Nominated break-out performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, in the hit revival of "The Rocky Horror Show."  As a theatrical performer, his versatile range has allowed him a variety of incredible opportunities ranging from the Lyric Opera of Chicago to working side by side with Barry Manilow on the world premiere of "Could It Be Magic!"

As club performer "Mercury," he has starred at many of Chicago's hottest venues including the Aragon Ballroom, Crobar, Congress Theatre, Sound Bar, Navy Pier-Grand Ballroom, Excalibur, Green Dolphin Street and The House of Blues, where he has debuted "power-house" performances of his dance club singles.  He has also headlined for some of Chicago's finest club events including Fireball, International Mr. Leather, and The International Gay Games.  He is glad to be back on stage for TPAN audiences who may remember him as the Ring Master in Chicago Takes Off’s “Under A Big Top!”

DJ Guy Smith
Guy Smith was classically trained in piano, clarinet, and guitar as a child. At the age of ten, Guy also started to amass a collection of 78 records of big band jazz, which would prove useful later in his life as a deejay.

In the 1980s, after a short career as an audio engineer, he began working as a disk jockey on Nashville’s ”Alternative” radio station, 91 Rock WRVU. Spinning the popular 9pm to midnight show and band parties sponsored by the station, he garnered many fans in the city and surrounding towns. He became known for seeking out unusual music that was harmonic, lyrical, danceable, and uplifting.

For 17 years following his departure from WRVU, Guy pursued his dream of becoming a lighting designer. In that time, Guy designed lights for some of the largest and most elaborate nightclubs and venues in Boston, Washington DC, New York, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, and even Tokyo. He has operated light shows for literally hundreds of deejays at thousands of events and nightclub parties over the past two decades.

Since his re-emergence as a deejay in 2006, Guy has returned to the music he played on the radio to ecstatic reviews.  Guy Smith is the official ‘80s party deejay for all Atlantis Events charter cruises, as well as numerous special events and fashion shows in New York City and Fire Island.

A man of many talents, Guy is also the impresario of the Malan Breton fashion line of fine women’s evening wear, and owner of the Malan Atelier in the East Village of New York.
