TPAN began offering dedicated youth programming in 2010. Since that time we've developed a unique niche for connecting with those between the ages of 18-29 in the LGBTQ community. Our youth programs offer social and cultural outings, monthly peer-led groups, holistic health retreats, individual counseling, psychiatry, and a drop-in space that allows for safety, support, and conversation. Each and every service is free of charge.

OTHER HELPFUL PROGRAMS
TEAM is TPAN’s treatment education program for HIV-positive individuals who want to learn more about managing their HIV care, HIV medications and talking to their doctor.
Committed to Living (CTL) is TPAN’s ongoing ‘Lunch and Learn’ series for HIV-positive individuals who want to stay up-to-to date on the latest information on HIV treatment and health.
TPAN has a number of support groups, one of them may be right for you. Oftentimes, we think we are struggling alone. Support groups help us see that there are others who may be dealing with similar situations and who, in turn, can help us get better.
The Tea Room: TPAN's Youth Drop-In Center
The Tea Room
The Tea Room, TPAN's drop-in youth center, is a safe space for young adults to congregate and find help and community. The Tea Room is open Wednesdays and Thursdays 1-5pm. Here you will find a washer-dryer for your use, snacks, TV, video games, a computer, and easy access to services, including medical care and case management.
Anyone between the ages of 18-29 and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally is welcome, regardless of HIV-status, race, or gender.
Getting Tested
TPAN offers free HIV and hepatitis C (HCV) testing services. If you can’t make it during TPAN’s walk-in testing hours and are enrolled in a TPAN youth program, contact n.clark@viventhealth.org or 773-989-9400 to schedule a time to come in for a test or to ask more about HIV or HCV.
Are you unsure about if you should take an HIV or HCV test? Decide if you might be vulnerable for HIV or HCV.
