TPAN's statement on the incident at Jeffrey Pub

On Sunday, August 14, 2022, a traumatic and terrible event resulting in three deaths and one serious injury occurred on the Southeast Side of Chicago outside Jeffrey Pub, involving members of the Ballroom community. This tragedy struck a community that some of our TPAN colleagues are a part of and that is served by TPAN. Our hearts go out to everyone at TPAN and in the Ballroom community affected by this despicable hate crime. We are all truly deeply shocked and saddened. Please know that TPAN will do everything within its power to ensure that violence against the LGBTQIA+ community is never tolerated.
